Kashikola, Daniel V.H born on 25 July 1957, Okawe, Ohangwena Region is a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Safety and Security since 2015.
He holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA), Maastricht School of Management, Netherland (2006); Diploma in Management, College of Professional Management, United Kingdom (1992); Diploma in Development Studies and Management, United Nations Institute for Namibia (UNIN), Lusaka (1986).
Prior to becoming a Deputy Minister, he worked as a Chief Regional Officer, Ohangwena Regional Council (2007-2014); Director of Planning, Ohangwena Regional Council (2004-2007); Acting Regional Officer, Kavango Regional Council (1995-1996); Control Officer, Ministry of Regional and Local Government and Housing (1993-1994); Director of SWAPO Election Sub center, Okongo (1989-1990); Member of Editorial Board of The Combatant – a monthly publication of Peoples Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) Political Commissariat (1986-1989) based at Swapo Defence Headquarters in Lubango.He received military training at both Tobias Hainyeko and Jumbo Training Centers in 1978 and 1987 respectively. He also served as a Political Commissar, Peoples Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) at the North Earsten Front from (1978-1982) before sustaining an injury in the battle in July 1982.
